Short version: scrappe.am collects nothing, sends nothing, and stores everything locally in your browser. There are no servers, no accounts, no tracking, and no third parties involved.

1. Who we are

scrappe.am is a Chrome browser extension that helps users collect and export TikTok follower and following lists. This Privacy Policy explains how the extension handles your data.

2. Data we do NOT collect

scrappe.am does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

Your TikTok credentials or session tokens
Your personal information (name, email, location, etc.)
Your browsing history or activity outside of TikTok
Usage analytics or telemetry of any kind
The scraped data you collect — it never leaves your device

3. Data stored locally on your device

When you use scrappe.am to scrape a TikTok followers or following list, the resulting data (usernames, display names, profile URLs, and avatar URLs) is saved locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API.

This data:

Exists only on your device
Is never transmitted to any external server or third party
Can be deleted at any time from within the extension popup using the Clear All button
Is automatically removed if you uninstall the extension

4. Permissions used

scrappe.am requests the following Chrome permissions and uses them solely as described:

storage — to save scraped sessions locally in your browser between popup opens
activeTab — to detect whether you are currently on a TikTok page so the popup can show relevant status
tiktok.com host access — to inject the Scrape button into the TikTok followers modal and read the visible user list from the page DOM

No permission is used for any purpose beyond what is described above.

5. Third-party services

scrappe.am does not integrate with, send data to, or rely on any third-party service, analytics platform, or API. The extension operates entirely within your browser.

6. TikTok's own terms

scrappe.am reads content that is already visible on your screen while you are logged in to TikTok. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the extension complies with TikTok's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. scrappe.am is not affiliated with TikTok or ByteDance.

7. Children's privacy

scrappe.am is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you are under 13, please do not use this extension.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
